Boo.

So apparently due to an inability to calculate time zones (you mean midnight in Greenwich is early evening in Ontario? Since when?) I missed the Yuletide sign-ups this year.  I'm on the pitch hitter list though and will probably volunteer to beta for someone so I guess you could say I'm half participating. :)

Looking forward to the madness.

*growl* I'm sorry, hon. If you've got notes or whatever for your signup keep them. What were you going to request, anyway?

You can also write treats and midnight madness stories, which are pretty much you finding a prompt you like and frolicking. (It's a little more specific than that, but ~basically.)

I was going to request 'What will the Robin do then?' by Jean Little, plus 2 webcomics: Scandinavia and the World, and Phoenix Requiem.

I don't think I know Phoenix Requiem. What is it about? (I don't know Jean Little either, actually. I think that I did not read her when I was growing up because there were not enough dragons and she didn't have old school covers.)

I am also excited for my yuletide letter. I am more effected by the shortened signups period than I thought I would be - I like to rewatch or reread whatever I'm requesting before I prompt/write my letter and yeah, guess what I'm doing tonight.

Phoenix Requiem is a fantasy set in a small town victorian-type era. Basically a mysterious man shows up in town, people around him start seeing ghosts and spirits, and just after he arrives a gruesome plague starts infecting the townsfolk. Then more stuff happens. (Its the kind of plot where describing it is spoiler-y)

That sounds cool. How long is it right now?

I'm mostly requesting films or film-like things. There's a television series, too, but I've watched that pretty recently. So it should not be that bad. I have been doing screencaps, which I find exciting.
